  • Keep green waste separate from your garbage cart and bulk items.
  • Bag lawn clippings and leaves in compostable bags only — plastic bags can’t be composted.
  • Stack limbs neatly at the curb, cut to manageable lengths.

Leaf Season

Curbside leaf collection runs during leaf season. The schedule is determined based on the weather.

  • Rake leaves to the curb line, ready for the vacuum crew.
  • Leaves in compostable bags are picked up within 48 hours of your request — call (270) 887-6245.
  • Keep leaf piles out of the street, gutters, sidewalks, and drainage ditches.
  • No limbs, trash, or rocks mixed into leaf piles — they damage the equipment.
